Hi all, just come back from turkey, not too keen to be honest. My holiday would have been better if i hadn'y have had an accident. We were at a water park and i banged heads with one of my daughter's friends. It bled a little and then developed into a huge black eye! Sad

Anyway, i got some stuff from the chemist and i got it checked out at Hospital when we got back, but i'm due to go back ino work on tuesday and i still have lovely colours of yellowy/ reddy/ purpley eye! Huh

Anyone have any ideas for getting rid of bruising quickly?? Smile

Hi Dawnybee,

Sorry to hear you had the accident, hope you're both ok now, apart from the bruising. I think you should buy some eyeshadows that match the colours of bruises and make the good eye look the same, no-one will notice lol. You could say it's all the rage in Turkey he he

Other than that, Arnica oil/gel helps with bruising.

Or maybe witch hazel? Sorry to hear about your black-eye and hope it's gone by the time you go back to work! xx

Hi Dawn,

Sorry to hear about your accident.
Arnica cream helps with bruising. I know from recent experience that make-up doesn't really work in covering up a black eye, it just needs patience till the bruise disappears!

Hi Dawn,

Have you tried Garnier Anti-dark circles for the eyes, it is a very good cover up, I used this when I had a sore eye. It is very good and is not too expensive. Apart from the accident I hope you enjoyed your holiday.

Take care Lorna x Smile

Hi all, thanks for the replies! the garnier stuff in the roll on is fantastic! luckily i took that with me, and on my photos you couldn't see it! I had a bit of a baggy lip type swelling which i couldn't cover over but the swelling seems to be disapearing now and hopefully it will be gone (well a lot more faded) for tuesday! Thanks again all, dawnybee x
